Sydney Roosters forward Dylan Napa faces a week on the NRL sidelines after being charged for a careless high tackle on Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco.

The in-form Roosters prop collected Tedesco in the first minute of Sunday's 32-18 win over the Tigers, and will miss Saturday's clash with Melbourne even with an early guilty plea due to carry-over points.

Napa is the fourth player to be charged from the weekend's matches, with Canberra's Shannon Boyd and Jack Wighton each facing one week on the sideline, while Penrith's Sam McKendry is facing a minimum two-week ban.
