Representative winger Daniel Tupou has finally sorted out his NRL future, re-signing with Sydney Roosters for two more seasons.

Tupou's future has been the source of much speculation this season, with the former Kangaroo and NSW three-quarter linked to a move to Parramatta.

However the 2013 premiership winger always maintained he wanted to stick with the Roosters and his retention was confirmed by the club on Monday, much to the relief of the 24-year-old.

"I'm so happy that I'll continue to be part of the team here at the Roosters," Tupou said in a club statement.

"The club means so much to me and I'm looking forward to continuing to work hard with Robbo (coach Trent Robinson) and my teammates to keep improving and do my job for the side."

Tupou's contract dramas have affected his form this season, and he was dropped from the NSW side following a below-par effort in State of Origin I. But with his future determined Tupou enjoyed probably his best game of the year in the Roosters' win over Wests Tigers on Friday.

The foundation club also announced the retention of young gun Brendan Elliot until the end of the 2017 season.
